History
Several high profile and experienced IT professionals got together and formed ATD Solution after realizing that more than 70 percent of IT projects implemented in the industry somehow failed to materialize. This translates to billion of dollars being eroded anually from the business.
Led by Aaron Tan Dani, the former Director of Financial Services Platform Strategy, and who also previously held position as a Senior Architect & Platform Strategy Adviser from Microsoft, ATD Solution was formed with a charter to help correct this situation by helping companies implement properly-planned IT Architecture and business processes so that IT projects undertaken by companies would attain better success rates.
Having been in the industry for more than 17 years, prior to setting up ATD Solution, Aaron Tan Dani realizes that one of the biggest challenges the IT industry faces is the lack of understanding regarding what proper IT Architecture is. Likening IT Architecture to that of a building architect who envisions the entire design of a building before it is built, Tan Dani believes what the industry needs is to have properly trained IT architects to ensure the foundations of IT projects are addressed before they are undertaken. Only with proper IT Architecture best practices implemented and adopted can companies truly leverage on IT to deliver high business value.
Armed with this mission in mind, Tan Dani secured an exclusive contract from the International Association of Software Architects (IASA) Global, the world’s leading vendor-independent authority on IT architecture, to manage and administer IASA training and certification programs across Asia Pacific countries.
